Marimekko – Classic Print Design from Finland
Marimekko is a Finnish design house founded by Armi Ratia in 1951. Marimekko originally worked with printing on textiles such as curtains, bags and clothes.
Later, Marimekko has also expanded to also manufacture their designs on crockery and kitchenware. This includes plates, but also bowls, cups and mugs.
Marimekko’s prints often consist of colorful flowers and plants, and they also have several series of prints from more urban areas, Räsymatto prints, and more.
