Riedel – Generations with Wine Glass
Riedel’s history dates back to the late 1600s when Johann Christoph Riedel traveled around Europe and traded in glass. Since that time, Riedel has survived until now the 11th generation by Maximilian Josef Riedel.
When Riedel develops wine glasses they want to bring out the special characteristics of the wine type in question. Through a series of wine tasting they find the desired shape to create the optimal wine glass.
In addition to wine glasses, Riedel also has a good selection of different decanters. These are designed to allow as much air as possible into the wine as it is poured into the wine glass.
